Townhome Project Summary
An exciting new townhome residence is coming to north Pickering located on the southeast corner of William Jackson Drive and Earl Grey Avenue that signals the beginning of a brand new chapter for the eastern gateway to the Greater Toronto Area, one where this real estate project will find itself at the middle of massive intensive development ranging from transportation to high-tech industries.

Maxx Urban Towns is a pre-construction townhouse development in the Dufferin Heights neighbourhood of Pickering. Currently at the northern edge of the city, this new community provides investors with the early opportunity to get involved with a brand new district expected to attract 30,000 new jobs and 60,000 new residents by 2031.

Phase 1 is 8 blocks containing a total of 130 units ranging in size from 784 sq.ft to 1,120 sq.ft and offering layouts from 2 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms plus den and 3 bedrooms. In the first phase you will have an exclusive playground within the townhome complex, 9′ smooth finish ceilings on main floors, laminate flooring in main living areas* and much more.

This 1.74 hectare low-rise development will comprise of 13 three-storey stacked townhouses containing 264 living units, each of which can be accessed using a publicly-accessible private road and pedestrian walkways.

Townhouse blocks will be grouped by their room layouts; seven buildings will be exclusively reserved for 3-bedroom units, while the rest will contain only 1 and 2-bedroom units.

To reduce the impact on the environment, most of the complexes’ parking space has been moved underground. Out of its 405 total parking spots, only 16 will be placed above ground; meanwhile, the complex will also provide parking space for some 264 bicycles.

Like clouds gathering at the edge of the sky, planned developments coming to this outer fringe of the city include an 324 hectare high-tech Innovation Corridor, a brand new suburb, and even new GO train service in the form of a brand new train station to be located within walking distance of this future residence.

Sure enough, northern Pickering is on its way to becoming a bustling area, one that is full of activity and vibrancy. Home to thousands of residents, a destination for commuting workers, this new part of town is set to bring huge gains and prosperity to these undeveloped lands. With ambitious plans that even include a secondary Toronto airport, Pickering looks to unlock its potential in a very big way.

And, it will start with real estate projects like this one — projects that seek to be visionary in their own way. As a walkable community aware of their societal impact, this new real estate project styles itself as a paragon to be followed, and attract followers of its own.

Every journey begins with a single step, and this pre-construction townhome project is among the first of many steps towards Pickering’s prosperous future to come. Get in on the great real estate opportunity that is Maxx Urban Towns; but, be sure to act soon — clouds can only gather so long before they burst.

The townhouse complex will provide 54 square meters of indoor amenity space as well as two outdoor amenity area, located to its center and east. As well, the complex will leave its southern portion undeveloped so that it can be used as a 900 square meter-park. Planters or a landscape buffer will be constructed to further provide privacy and separation from the neighbouring Pickering Golf Club to the east.

All buildings will have frontage on a public or private street, or onto an outdoor amenity area. Residents living in top-level units will have access to rooftop terraces, while some ground floor residents will have use of a patio space.Designs show the townhomes to be artfully-contoured structures composed of a complementing brown brick and tan stucco color scheme, offset by the glass used in its numerous, expansive windows and many balcony barriers.

Refined and resplendent, these townhomes display a grand air of confidence and luxury, imbuing this community with comfort and class. This upmarket townhouse offers an ideal urban contemporary lifestyle, one that will be supplemented by the many exciting developments coming soon in the future.

Location & Neighbourhood
As a brand new community, Dufferin Heights doesn’t have much to show for at the present. Largely dependent on the use of a car, residents here need to drive 6 minutes south to Kingston Road to reach the closest retail area, or 8 minutes to Pickering Town Centre and the city’s downtown core. And yet, these places only suggest at the future amenities that will make this neighbourhood anything but a sleepy bedroom community.

Existing commercial services include a farmers market, a landscape supplier, a golf course, and a driving range. However, the area’s main road, Brock Road, is set to become a high-density mixed-use transit corridor as future infrastructure projects are built, welcoming with them more residents.

Chief among this area’s coming developments is a brand new GO station that will provide train service to local residents. Expected to be built at Brock Road and a nearby C.P. rail line, this future station will be located within 1,000 meters of the townhome complex, allowing residents to reach this transit hub with a 15 minute walk.

As well, plans are already well underway to construct the Pickering Innovation Corridor in the area immediately north of the townhome complex. Located west of Brock Road and sandwiched between Highway 407 and Highway 7, this future high-tech zone will complement Pickering’s existing energy, environment, and engineering sector as well as Markham’s own high-tech sector.

And yet, even with these significant announcements, the biggest development may still be New Seaton, Pickering’s future suburb that is expected to welcome some 70,000 new residents. Located just down the street from the townhomes on Taunton Road, this massive new community will be accompanied by a host of new developments for commercial, educational, and municipal purposes.

With so much unbridled potential, it seems like the “skies’ the limit” for northern Pickering, but we should only expect as much from Maxx Urban Towns, the luxury residence that dares to dream without limits.
